Lubomir Krupsa
Lubomir is a Partner and oversees the investment strategy and portfolio management.
Prior to founding Cherub Investments, Lubomir worked for UTA Telecom as the Managing Director for the Czech Republic and Slovakia for eight years. In these two countries, he established and built subsidiaries of this Austria’s leading alternative telecommunications company backed by the Austria’s regional power utilities and Swisscom. He rapidly grew sales thanks to successful strategy and strategic cooperation with IT companies. He was also in charge of business development in Ukraine and Russia.
In 1991 to 2000, Lubomir established and built the Czech and Slovak subsidiaries of Moulinex, a leading global home appliances producer. As the Managing Director, he rapidly developed the company’s distribution network and made Moulinex No. 1 in terms of market share in the Czech and Slovak markets.
Prior to Moulinex, Lubomir worked for Strojimport, a Czech export company of industrial products, for four years. He was in charge of export of machine tools from Skoda Plzen to Germany, Switzerland, Denmark and Poland.
Lubomir’s experience in B2B, FMCG and Services in IT and telecommunications sectors ranges across starting up and growing new businesses, building and executing corporate strategies, managing operations, and improving business performance. His successful track record is attributed to proper understanding of market trends, establishing appropriate strategies and financial solutions, and leading effective negotiations.
Lubomir graduated from Technical University in Kosice, Faculty of Electrical Engineering, and Foreign Trade Institute in Prague.
